WRC Welcomes Abby Touchet as Summer GIS/Transportation Technician

Abby Touchet’s grandfather was the longtime highway superintendent of Westhampton, Massachusetts. That seems fitting, as Abby will be spending time this summer walking the roads of the Windham Region doing culvert inventories and working on a host of other GIS and transportation projects. Currently she’s focusing on Guilford’s culvert inventory.

Abby is a Geography major at Keene State College with an interest in outdoor recreation and graphic design. She hails from Chester, Massachusetts on the eastern edge of the Berkshires. In her free time (which may be in short supply this summer as she has another part-time job and is taking an on-line class), she enjoys being outdoors; she is co-president of Keene State’s Environmental Outing Club, and she’s backpacked over one hundred miles of the Long Trail so far. Jeff and Lisa, WRC’s GIS staff, are glad to have Abby on board for the summer of 2020. Look for them on the roads and trails of the Windham Region the next few months.
